Terms & Conditions for Private Lessons

To ensure a smooth experience for both students and teachers, please carefully read and agree to the following terms before booking a private lesson.

These terms and conditions govern your relationship with Vixen Dance & Circus (“we“, “us“, “our“). By booking a private lesson, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

Booking & Payment

  • Private lessons may be booked individually or as a 12-week block for students attending regular 1 hour weekly training.

  • When booking a 12-week block, 11 lessons are payable and the 12th lesson is included at no additional charge.

  • All lessons within the block must be the same duration (e.g. 12 × 1-hour lessons). Lesson lengths cannot be mixed within the same block.

  • Payment for block bookings is required in advance of the first lesson, unless a monthly instalment plan has been agreed.

  • Once a private lesson is booked, it is chargeable in full, upon receipt of the invoice.

  • Payment must be made in full at the time of booking or no later than 48 hours in advance of the class booking.

  • If payment is not received at least 48 hours before, we reserve the right to cancel the session and offer the slot to another student.

  • Private lessons & blocks are non-transferable and non-refundable and are reserved for the named student only.

  • We reserve the right to rebook and charge for a new lesson or offer an alternative date if possible.

Block Booking Eligibility

  • Block bookings are available for individual students attending regularly scheduled weekly private lessons.

  • This arrangement does not apply to shared lessons, fortnightly bookings, or occasional private sessions unless agreed in advance.

  • Block bookings are subject to teacher availability and may not be available for all time slots.

  • Block bookings are scheduled as 12 consecutive weekly lessons at an agreed day and time. This time slot is reserved exclusively for the student during this period.

  • Lessons must be taken within the scheduled 12-week period. Missed lessons cannot be carried forward beyond these weeks unless agreed in advance.

  • If a student wishes to continue after the block has finished, a new block booking will be required.

  • The 12th lesson is included free of charge as part of the block booking. The free lesson is only provided when the full block of 12 sessions is completed.

  • Payment for 11 lessons is required in advance of the first lesson, unless a monthly instalment plan has been agreed.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, a minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required.

  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged at the full lesson rate, and no refunds or credits will be given.

  • If you give the required notice, your payment can be transferred to a future private lesson within 4 weeks.

No-Shows & Lateness

  • If you do not attend your private lesson without notice, it will be charged in full.

  • If you arrive late, your lesson will still finish at the scheduled time and you will be charged in full.

Teacher Cancellations

  • If Bella needs to cancel your private lesson, you will not be charged.

  • We will offer to reschedule at a mutually convenient time.

  • If Bella is late we will offer to run over or add additional time onto a future lesson.

Emergency Exceptions

  • We understand that genuine emergencies can happen. In exceptional circumstances, cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be credited or rescheduled at our discretion. Proof may be required.

  • By booking a private lesson with Vixen Dance & Circus, you agree to these terms and conditions.
